Physics at Rivier University is a two semester course of study with a three credit "lecture" and a one credit laboratory each semester. This two semester sequence (PHY111 and PHY112) is algebra based and covers fundamental principles of physics including classical mechanics, energy, oscillatory motion, sound, electricity, magnetism, nuclear physics, optics, and other selected topics.
