The renowned "Delta Force" is preparing for a top-secret mission. The commander selects a unit consisting of 30 men, and delegates to its commanding officer, a lieutenant, the job of completing the mission.

The lieutenant determines that a crucial infiltration operation is necessary for the success of the mission, and decides that a small team of 3 men from the unit will be responsible for this infiltration operation.  He places the names of all the men in the unit in a small bowl, and picks out the names of 3 men, in order. The first man picked is designated the team leader, the second the deputy team leader, and the third will be responsible for communications.

How many possible choices are there for this selection?

Hint: Note that this is a selection of 3 men out of a total of 30, and that the order of the selection is important. So this is a form of what? (A standard term in probability -- if you can figure that out, you'll know the proper formula to apply.  However, don't just guess!  Figure it out from the slide presentation examples.)
